🔸 COVER STORY |  A sneak peek @ one of our projects near Smithers, British Columbia – Canada.

Absolutely Covered fabric buildings deliver shelter and storage solutions tailored to the unique requirements of numerous industries, including mine sites.

Project Summary: Fabric Structures for Mining Storage and First Aid

For this mining site, Absolutely Covered provided two custom-engineered fabric structures designed to handle high snow loads and extreme temperatures.

50×78 HT Series Structure: This large storage facility, mounted on concrete block foundations, is used for equipment storage. It includes two 20×16 overhead doors for easy drive-through access for larger equipment, several man doors, and insulation for temperature control. Permitting, engineering, and project management were key elements.

32×30 CC Series Structure: This smaller facility houses first aid equipment and an ambulance, featuring two 18×10 overhead doors for ambulance access and one man door. Like the larger structure, it’s insulated and built on an engineered foundation to meet the client’s specific needs.

Both structures were designed to ensure safety and efficiency in the mining industry.

Custom Fabric Buildings for Mining Sites: All-Weather Protection and Efficiency

When it comes to mining operations, the challenges posed by harsh weather conditions, large equipment, and demanding schedules require innovative solutions. Custom-engineered fabric buildings have emerged as the perfect choice for mining companies looking for durable, adaptable, and cost-effective storage and workspace solutions. At Absolutely Covered, we specialize in providing top-quality fabric structures tailored to meet the unique needs of the mining industry.

Why Fabric Buildings are Ideal for Mining Sites

1. All-Weather Protection
Mining sites are often exposed to extreme weather conditions, from scorching heat to heavy snow. Our fabric buildings provide all-weather protection, ensuring that equipment, vehicles, and materials remain safe and secure year-round. These durable structures are designed to withstand even the harshest environments, offering peace of mind for operations in remote and challenging areas.

2. Custom-Engineered Solutions for Mining Operations
Each mining site is different, which is why we offer custom-engineered fabric buildings. Our team works closely with your operation to design a structure that fits your specific needs, whether it’s for heavy equipment storage, workshops, or shelter for workers. With a variety of sizes and configurations, our fabric buildings can adapt to your site’s requirements, providing a versatile solution for any mining application.

3. Ideal for Equipment and Material Storage
Mining operations require a lot of space for machinery, vehicles, and supplies. Fabric buildings are perfect for equipment storage, offering wide, clear spans that allow for easy movement and storage of large mining vehicles and materials. Unlike traditional buildings, our fabric structures can be erected quickly and provide flexible storage options for both short-term and long-term use.

4. Durability and Strength in Tough Environments
Mining sites demand buildings that can handle heavy-duty use, and our fabric buildings are built to last. These structures are made with high-tensile steel frames and industrial-grade fabric covers, making them resistant to wear and tear. Whether you need a building for temporary use or long-term protection, our durable fabric structures are designed for reliability in tough mining environments.

5. Energy-Efficient and Cost-Effective
One of the key benefits of using fabric buildings at mining sites is the cost-effectiveness. Fabric structures are typically less expensive to construct and maintain compared to traditional buildings. Their energy-efficient design allows for natural light to filter in, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day, which helps lower operational costs.

Applications of Fabric Buildings in the Mining Industry

– Heavy Equipment Storage: The large, open interiors of fabric buildings make them ideal for storing mining vehicles, loaders, and other heavy equipment.

– Workshops and Maintenance Sheds: Fabric buildings can be used as covered areas for equipment repairs and maintenance, keeping operations running smoothly, even in bad weather.

– Material Storage: Mining companies can use our fabric structures for storing raw materials, fuel, and other essential supplies.

– Temporary Shelters: When setting up new mining operations or expanding existing ones, fabric buildings can be quickly erected for temporary offices, crew housing, or secure storage spaces.
